Founded by Donna Raschke, The Wedding Dance Company is built on over 25 years of professional dance experience and more than 15 years of specialising in wedding dance choreography. As a professionally qualified dance teacher, choreographer and international performer, Donna has built a career performing and creating productions across the world, bringing an exceptional level of expertise to every couple she teaches.
Classically trained in ballet, tap and modern, Donna's professional career has spanned commercial dance, cabaret, theatre, television, modelling and live entertainment. This extensive background has provided experience across many dance genres, enabling couples to choose from elegant ballroom and Latin styles, timeless sequence dances, musical theatre, swing, salsa, jive, rock 'n' roll and many more. Whether you're looking for a beautifully traditional first dance or a fully bespoke routine that blends multiple styles, every dance is carefully choreographed based on your vision.
Donna's international career includes performing as a 'Bluebell' in the acclaimed production 'Bonheur' at the iconic Lido de Paris, one of the world's most famous cabaret theatres. As part of the Lido's touring company, she performed at exclusive events for luxury brands such as Van Cleef & Arpels and Parisian fashion houses, in New York, Moscow and Beijing, as well as touring extensively throughout Europe and Asia. Her performance career also includes contracts with both Princess Cruises and MSC Cruises, alongside theatre, television and live entertainment productions across the globe. This wealth of international experience has developed an exceptional understanding of choreography, musicality and performance, expertise that now underpins every bespoke wedding dance created at The Wedding Dance Company.
